In classical Chinese literature, there is an expression that compares heaven and earth as an inn, and humans as a mere travelers staying in it. This work takes the creator’s long-term residence as a narrative clue, incorporating photographs, diaries, tickets, and objects from pivotal life moments, interwoven with candle wicks. Arranged according to astral patterns corresponding to different regions, the flickering starlight of the candles serves as punctuation for memory, composing a record of life’s journey.
