The work Path inherits the “hexagonal weaving” technique, the quintessence of the Chinese folk traditional bamboo weaving craft, and incorporates the artist’s original multi-surface keel-free forming method, which fully interprets the specific hollowed-out, translucent beauty of “hexagonal weaving” and thus creates a tangled situation of thickness and unrealness. Inside the rolling "rocks", there seemed to be traversable passages hidden. A massive black-colored steel mirror base is set beneath a large "rock" in the suspension. Jiugongge (Nine-patch)'s philosophy and artistic interests appear to be conveyed through the base, which is made up of five plates arranged in the shape of a loop pattern. The mirror base, reflecting everything on the rock's back, makes it possible for the two contradictory elements (mirror and rock) to come together, coexist peacefully, and mix seamlessly.
